I can’t belive a reviewer said this has a good storyline, it’s one of the worst ever. I watched the opening scene and laughed my a$$ off at how bad it was. Don’t get me wrong I am a hardcore MK fanboy myself, I have a still play all the MK titles from MK I & II (genisis) right to MKA Wii, but this one sucks. With midway MK is dead. As a gamer paying good money for games I can no longer trust midway to make games worth the coin anymore. MKA was the last Mortak Kombat for me until we get a real follow up and not some childish joke. Im going to play some MK mugen and the previous MK games. Hopefully now that midway is out of business becasue of this tripe and the jolk that was TNA impact, Warner will do a better job with MK and give it back the credability it lost with this horrid installment. Pray that this mistake is forgotten and dies with Midway and Ed Boon, we don’t need mk vs dc II we need a follow up to MKA, a real Mortal Kombat game, not PG13 kiddie Kombat. SHAME! Thank god’s midway can’t make MK games anymore this garbage is a good enough reason why.

This game is impressive as a novelty at best. It is easy to call it a decent fighter for the PS3 because there has not been one released yet. Soul Calibur IV was a flop. MK vs. DC is more FUN, but lacks depth beyond your first few days of playing. I won’t argue with the fact that the game is more fluid than recent MK games, but the tweaking of the combo system compared to Deception on PS2 is horrible. I remember playing Deception online for hours on end. I can’t imagine anyone over preteen years finding this game exciting once you get past the fact that you can destroy Superman/Batman with Sub-Zero/Scorpion.

Overall I am very disappointing with MK VS DC. I would say the graphics and looks of the characters are great. The looks of the moves are nice too. The fatalities are mostly weak. Alot of characters regular moves are more brutal than their fatalities. I think for a casual button smashing Fan of these lines it may be fun. But as a true frighting ame its not good at all. I hate most of the new features. Alot of the new features involved button mashing. When you fall off a cliff, push someone through a wall, or do close up frightening . These remind me of the bonus rounds street fighter and MK used to have where i would just wait for the timer to run so I could get back to fighting. Most of the best combos are mostly button mashing too. The air combos are aggravating. The simple easy ones do the most damage. In fact I did one air combo and then had an idea to add an extra hit to it. It took a while to get it to work and once it did the damage was less. It was all the same exact moves with one extra move for an extra hit and it did less damage. Once that happen I got up and shut off my ps3 and never played the game again.

I purchased the game, new from Amazon. The first time I tried to play it, it didn’t work. All of my other games work. I tried to set up an excange 3 times. I returned the game, and still no exchange. I received a confirmation email that Amazon received my return. I then received an email saying that I would be receiving a refund, which I still haven’t seen. WTF??????

this was overall a Forgettable game. the graphics were Alright. the Fatalities could have been Alot better. the gameplay is very arcadey. there were times when i would kick someone…and it would show my foot hitting them..but it wouldnt count as a hit :l Terrible. the online is Decent Fun…for about 20 minutes :l like i said, Forgettable. im a huge fan of marvel so it was Great to see Batman, Catwoman, The Joker and all the characters they recreated from the Animated series..but theres other games you can Play if you like batman..and i would suggest those titles…All of them..
if you love Marvel and Mortal Kombat heroes, you should definitely Try This Game…but i didnt like it much at all, i sent it Back the day i got it. Catwoman is hott…so it gets 2 stars instead of one
