Stop giving nintendo more reasons to keep recycling these pokemon games. They go in and do a few changes and slap a new version and they have the blind consumers eating out of their hands.
This game doesn’t deserve anywhere 5 stars because you’re basically getting the same stuff you got since the beginning. Different pokemon? They simply went into the pictoral dictionary and made a cartoon version of all the creatures we know of and call it a pokemon.
Don’t be fooled, this game is only okay if you are completely new to pokemon, but other than that, it’s just recycled junk because they are out of good ideas. Don’t continue giving Nintendo and all the other industires out there the wrong idea. Stop being fooled and maybe one day when they do release a new version, it’ll actually have something different than a new cover artwork…
Nintendo, you’re just in it for the money, pokemon needs to stop. I would expect several years later that pokemon would have a LOT better graphics, fighting scenes, artwork, sounds, DS full usage, etc.

Really, this is just Diamond/Pearl 2.0. I would have expected to start off with an option for different Pokemon, but you get the same selection as Diamond/Pearl. Yes, there are some extensions, so far not enough to warrant a whole new game. They should have tried harder.

when you buy this game your gonna love it but after you complete all the side quests and gone through the battle frontier ish thing and train your pokemon after that THERE IS NOTHING TO DO AT ALL

I bought all my christmas presents early in the year for 2009. When the gift was given out, it DIDN’T EVEN WORK!!! There was a problem with the game and is UNREADABLE by the DS! It’s too late for a refund because, like I said, I ordered all gifts earlier in the year so I wouldn’t be crammed with having to get gifts during the holiday season. POOR QUALITY!! I wasted that money on a gift that didn’t even work! I could have used it for something else! But now it’s down the drain and I pretty much got NOTHING for spending $40.
